I recently found myself without a watch, and my Treo's time was wrong. I was able to use Blazer to download an atomic clock applicaton and sync my Treo - all whilst waiting for a train! Sure I could have asked a fellow passenger, but what fun would that have been?!

You gonna use this if you are into ebooks! The wide screen is very comfy for the eyes and not to mention for gaming. ;)
4. What made you inspired to buy a palm pda?
I was introduced to a Palm PDA when I worked with this company that manufactured accessories for Palm Inc then.
Was the Business Development Engineer then, and this nifty gadget Palm Vx then is a God-send tool for travelers!
5. How do you keep your self organised?
Every now and then as new information comes when I am outdoor in e.g. meeting schedules, notes, to-do I will enter into my PDA and then hotsync/isync it when back home with my ibook. Same goes for when I am in office or at home after I enter the info on the laptop to sync both machines.
6. What is it that keeps you hooked to your pda?
Prefer to have everything on hand that is easy for me to refer to.
Previously, my first PDA a Palm Vx is all I need but now with Bluetooth, GPRS, and IrDA it makes everything so much easier to have information over the air and keep all infor in one device where I can just whip it out to refer to.
7. What is your favourite food?
It has to be anything that has tomatoes in it. I love tomato!

Usually I don't just stay with 1 book as I prefer to read different ones according to whatever time I have.

The ability to carry alot of handy information in one device smaller then a computer, laptop yet big enough to see information clearly

I use Yishow explorer as my main launcher, that is the first step of my palm pda organisation such as organising applications into categories, using applications like palmary clock, wassup, Datebk, Teal notepad, Bonsai and Bug me, i'm able to organise lot's of things from appointments all the way to task management.
6. What is it that keeps you hooked to your pda?
I am gratefull to be able to access the internet on my pda this keeps me hooked to my email, and regular sites that I visit from brighthand.com,pdabuzz,palmaddict and blogs such as palm chronicles and now I will be visiting regularly palminspired.

I'm not reading any ebooks for the moment but do catch up on websites through Avantgo at times.

When I was in a bus, the person next to me was in their teen's and was quiet worried because her mobiles battery had drained out. She asked me what was that thing I have, I told her it's a Palm pda you can send emails as one of my examples. I then asked her what was the problem she said I need to get in contact with my Father as I'm on my way to my friends place and will be back for afternoon tea.
Such a simple problem but I understood, so I asked her you can always email him at his work, I'm sure he has instant access to his emails. And she said thanks that is a great idea, she sent a quick email with my help and her father replied no problems, and thanks to the person for helping my daughter!
Now my palm is just the best

Being a Techy myself I had to have one!

After purchasing my PDA i realised WOW you can also organize yourself with this tool and well sine 1998 I have gone through few updates and I would have to comment that strength and dedication keeps me organized. I use several applications to enter my vital tid bits few of these are Life balance, Agendus, Email, & Contacts which I use frequently to keep me running.

I used to rely on a Franklin Planner, but I religiously use Datebk5 and my handhelds built in Task list. So far I have not missed a deadline

Definitely entertainment, I carry alot of files, contacts, photos, games, recipes. I really rely on my handheld for daily activities for when I'm at the airport I most frequently use my bluetooth connection to access urgent emails. Even when i'm having coffee at a cafe I go through my expenses!

When I totally forgot that I had an appointment with my sons school teacher about his performance at school my pda gave me a warning within 2 hours luckily for me I had enabled this before hand. I was at first shocked that no it cant be today but then I was happy to have been warned 2 hours earlier which gave me enough time to do my own things before I head off.

Individuals born under capricorn are seen to be a goat not really but like a goat you can say :D they like to climb up the mountain that is to a successfull career making them ambitious. A T3 (my second, after washing the first one in the washing machine!)
I looked at a T5 (no voicememo, hence no voicetraining app), the LD
(too damn big) and a Treo650 (too small a screen and I don't need a
converged device)
4. What made inspired you to buy a palm pda?
I saw a colleague from the US using his Pilot 1000 in early 1997 and
ordered mine from the US very shortly afterwards!
128k of RAM, woohoo!
5. How do you keep yourself organised?
No mere gadget can achieve that impossible task, but I attempt it using
the built-in PIM applications and Daynotez.
6. What is it that keeps you hooked to your pda?
I wake up to it in the morning (Mother! plays an MP3) and it's the last thing I see at night (an ebook before bedtime) In between, it's my podcast player in the car, my note-taker and information source at work, the crux of my geocaching hobby, my game machine in idle moments, and many, many other roles. Apart from my car, it's the technological item that has the most direct day-to-day impact on my life.

Someone at a work conference was giving a presentation and said that "Ian was involved with the initial design, early last year"
I had the Palm out anyway (probably playing Bejewelled with the sound off), so I quickly looked it up in DayNotez and said "Actually, it was earlier than that; I first spoke to them on November 18, 2002."
"Oh, yeah? What time?" he asked sarcastically.
"11:20" I replied, deadpan.
One of my fellow Palm converts turned to the bloke from Melbourne who's still clinging to his dead-tree system and said "Try doing that with your Filofax!"
